SAINT JEAN DE BEBIAN PRIORY

Saint Jean de Bébian Priory is a one of a kind vineyard. Situated halfway between Pezenas town and the village of Nizas, it is a real peaceful haven amongst the vineyards.

The one-hectare vineyard is encased by basalt walls and is composed of a Michelin starred restaurant from chef Matthieu de Lauzun, a quaint 10-bedroom hotel magnificently decorated by the renowned architect Raymond Morel, as well as a swimming pool.

The chapel, built in 1152 by Cistercian monks, is particularly well preserved and is a testament to a rich history. A small 100-year-old olive garden and some majestic cedar trees line the vineyard. From the wonderful restaurant terrace, we can take in the views of the grounds, the chapel and the rectory where the monks once lived.
Situated less than 6km from the A75 motorway, the vineyard is easily accessible and very well placed between Sète, Agde and Béziers.
